Hospice of Warren County

The DeFrees Support Program was developed by Hospice of Warren County in 2001 to meet the needs of individuals and families who are dealing with serious illnesses and who were not eligible for or did not choose to receive Hospice services. Many of the DeFrees Support Program clients are continuing to seek treatment and many have a prognosis of greater than six months.

The DeFrees Support Program provides case management, a connection to community services, and compassionate volunteers who provide:

Friendship
Respite
Food preparation
Transportation
Chores
Errands
Assistance with insurance forms
