Volunteers...
Since its founding in 1979, Hospice of Warren County has provided care
to patients dealing with life-limiting illnesses with expertise and
compassion, through our inter-disciplinary care team approach. Volunteers
have always been a vital part of our team. They provide outstanding
services in all areas of our program, including our DeFrees Support
Program, our comprehensive Hospice program, and our extensive bereavement
services. These dedicated volunteers bring to Hospice their unique talents and
valuable skills. To add to their strengths, we require that volunteers
complete a twenty hour training class and be able to contribute two
to four hours a week. TYPES OF VOLUNTEERS
